Features and Benefits
• Has a capacity of up to 38 splice trays.
• Can accommodate single element splice trays or customer locking splice
trays which contain several tube loops to lock the fibre elements.
• Can accommodate splitters and splitter assemblies (SASA’s).
• Splice trays hinge upwards individually, allowing full access to spliced
fibres without disturbance to live fibres in adjacent trays.
• Contains an oval port and a Loop Storage facility. The oval port can
accommodate cables up to 10mm in diameter. Cables are sealed into the
oval port using resin.
• Contains six circular ports, which can accommodate a 25mm flexible
conduit to protect the incoming blown fibre tubes. The conduit and tubes
are sealed into the ports using resin.
• All fibres are positively managed to maintain a 25mm minimum bend
radius within the joint.
• The Joint is sealed to IP68.
• Supplied in several configurations. Each type is identified by different
colour toggles so there is no need to open the closure to determine which
version is installed. See kit contents and part numbers for the different
configurations.

• Designed for the splicing of OPGW cables.
• The joint box can accommodate 8 splice trays with each splice able to
accommodate up to 24 splices providing a maximum capacity of 192 fibre
splices.
• The joint box can be supplied with either 2, 3 or 4 cable entries and can
accommodate cables with a diameter of up to 25mm.
• The joint box can accommodate cables with plastic sheath, OPGW with
aluminium tube (multi loose tube or single loose tube), OPGW with stainless
steel tube or OPGW with stainless steel embedded aluminium tube.
• OPGW cables are sealed into the joint box using cable glands and a heavy
walled heat shrink tube. Plastic sheathed cables are sealed using heavy walled
heat shrink tube.
• The joint box can be anchored to the tower with galvanised steel clamps,
allowing the fixation to any type of tower. It can be anchored to all types of
poles using stainless steel tape.
• The external box is made of aluminium alloy and is sealed to IP67.

Features and Benefits
• Each joint is supplied with 2 pre-fitted splice trays each capable of
containing up to 48 spliced fibres.
• Each joint is supplied with 96 mini heat-shrink splice protectors.
• The closure base has 6 circular entry ports, four of them factory fitted with
5 meters of flexduct to feed through the cable fibre modules. The
maximum capacity of each flexduct is 24 Retractanet fibre modules with 2
fibres each or 12 feeder cable loose tubes 1.55 mm with 12 fibres each.
• All flexducts are sealed using adhesive lined heat-shrink sleeves. The base
entry ports are pre-shot blasted and configured with easy knock out ends,
